Many and many a year ago I have made some interviews with Mr. Karel Zdenovec, The Economic Counselor of the Czech Republic Embassy in Bucharest. When Mr. Zdenovec  left, he introduced me to Ing. Michal Holub.

Some weeks ago I have met Ing. Michal Holub at an international event from ROMEXPO and I have asked him about it.

Mr.Michal Holub, would you like to be so kind to tell some opinions about this edition of CONSTRUCT Expo from ROMEXPO, about your participation and the participation of the Czech companies?

–    This edition of the international trade fair Construct-Ambient Expo was traditionally perfectly organised by Romexpo exhibition center team. I can say in one word, that this edition was about specialization in heating,  A/C solar building systems and in other home smart equipment following new world construction trends enabling investors, construction companies and cities more comfortable and eco-friendly usage of new construction materials and technologies in praxis.

We have tried to attend at Construct Expo Ambient 2019 also with Czech producers offering sofisticated solutions. One of them, company SENSE Vital Air, s.r.o. (www.sense.cz) has a strong interest to offer on Romanian market a sofisticated interior powerful and high-quality purifiers. They are produced with robust filters and made with a minimum amount of plastics. The reason of partictipation at the stand of CzechTrade promotion agency was to reach within the assistance of our foreign office in Bucharest a set of meetings with new potential business partners / distributors. After 4 days of meetings we can beleive in successful mission with all our clients there.

Because you have spent some time in Romania, tell us, please, something about Romania and the development of the trade bilateral relationships between our countries.

–  I can say, that both countries have a long-term warm and professional economical relationship. It is based on the similar (not the same) history in economic and industrial development of both countries in last century. Romanian managers well remember high-quality Czech technologies before 1989 (in energo and machinery fields..). At present Czech car brand Skoda Octavia is very popular. On the other hand Czech managers respect harder conditions for Romanian companies and rapid sucessful development in industrial and commercial activities after the revolution. Presently everybody can see a new trend in rising up the export activities of Romanian producers in abroad (Dacia, Astra Arad and many others..). I think this could be a very good basement for future co-operation of many SME´s from both countries.

Do you have a message for the readers of this interview?

–  The Czech Republic is a small country. With a solid and warm interest for a very good business relation development with Romania. Romania is a hidden tiger in region of South-east Europe. We can do great things toghether. Only what we need is to use a mutual respect and trust in a common future of all of us in strong international competition.
